What is Niddick?

Niddick is a classic block-stacking puzzle game where you control falling cubes, clear lines, and try to achieve the highest score possible. It's easy to learn but challenging to master!

Is Niddick free to play?

Yes! Niddick is completely free to play. No downloads, no subscriptions, no hidden fees.

Do I need to create an account?

No account required! When you first visit, we automatically create a player profile for you. Your progress is saved using browser cookies and localStorage.

How do I play?

Use the arrow keys (desktop) or touch controls (mobile) to:

• ← Left arrow: Move block left
• → Right arrow: Move block right
• ↓ Down arrow: Soft drop (speed up descent)
• ↑ Up arrow or Space: Rotate block

How do I score points?

You earn points by clearing lines. Clear multiple lines at once for bonus points! The game gets faster as you level up, but so do the rewards.

Can I pause the game?

Yes! Click the pause button in the game interface to pause your game. You can also use the "Save & Exit" button to save your progress and continue later.

What is my Player ID?

Your Player ID is a unique code (like "NK-A3F9B2") that identifies you in the game. You can find it on the home page. Save this ID! You'll need it to recover your scores if you clear your browser data.

Can I change my player name?

Yes! Visit the home page and click "Change Player Name". Choose any unique name you like (up to 50 characters). Player names must be unique across all players.

How are scores saved?

Your scores are automatically saved to our database every time you finish a game. We also save your player information in a cookie that lasts for one year.

What if I clear my browser data?

If you clear cookies/localStorage, you'll lose access to your player profile and will need to start fresh as a new player. We recommend not clearing your browser data if you want to keep your progress and scores. In future versions, we may add an account recovery system.

How does the leaderboard work?

We track the top 100 scores in four categories:

• All Time: Best scores ever recorded
• This Month: Top scores for the current month
• This Week: Top scores in the last 7 days
• Today: Best scores achieved today

Why isn't my score showing on the leaderboard?

The leaderboard shows only the top 100 scores. If your score isn't high enough, it won't appear. Keep playing to improve your score and climb the ranks!

What browsers are supported?

Niddick works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. For the best experience, use the latest version of your browser.

Can I play on mobile?

Yes! Niddick is fully responsive and works great on phones and tablets. The game automatically adapts to your screen size and provides touch controls.
